A licensed therapist will come to your location, provide a thorough assessment, and collaborate with you to develop a plan to address a wide variety of distressing issues. Through proven intervention strategies, your therapist will work with you to introduce new strategies and skills to help you replace old thoughts / behaviors with more adaptive / healthier thoughts / behaviors and improve your quality of life and personal relationships. You will see positive change in a short period of time. As you learn new skills, you will be more effective in you life and better able to make positive change on your own. Participation is voluntary and you have final say on all treatment decisions.

Family Time
The therapist will come to your location and engage in observation, assessment, dialogue, and intervention strategies with your family. Your family will be engaged in family meetings, given individualized assignments directed toward increasing consistency, routines, and expectations for all members. Your therapist will work with you to create a home environment that promotes respect for the rules and each for each other. This will include identifying:

“I’m working on it”
“I’m working on it” is our anger management group. Here members meet to share and learn about personal struggles with anger. This is an open group that meets once a week. Members will utilize a workbook and peer support to better understand the impact of their behavior on their personal and professional relationships. Together Again
Supervised visitation ensures the safety of children while promoting the parent / child relationship. Inherent in the nature of the this service is the opportunity to offer parenting materials and make referrals for needed services, to further ensure the safety and care of the child.
These services will be provided at various child appropriate community settings or on site as deemed appropriate by the Program Coordinator. Community sites may include: The Westchester Galleria, Rockland Lake, or other public locations that may foster a natural “family outing” type activity. Head In The Right Direction, Inc. offers appropriate space for visitations evenings and weekends.
$75.00 / hour
The initial interview with each parent serves as the first hour of service.
All therapy services are CPT-coded for insurance reimbursement. We will work with you and your insurance carrier to get you the reimbursement you are entitled.
