We are looking for licensed competent Social Workers and Psychologists to provide clinical services to clients in:

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology from an accredited University
• Valid License from New York State Office of the Professions to practice Social Work or Psychology
• At least 1 year post graduate clinical experience with professional supervision and evaluation (to be furnished upon request)
• Valid Drivers License

We provide offsite mental health and family services to clients in their homes, places of business, or other appropriate venues in their community.   As a provider of mobile mental health services, you will be expected to:

• Engage with and develop a collaborative professional relationship with clients at every stage of the therapeutic relationship
• Undertake and write up assessments and service plans which meet specified standards and timelines
• Conduct interviews with clients and their families to assess and review their situation
• Offer information and counseling support to clients and their families
• Promote and support the values, skills, and knowledge in accordance with your education and The NASW Code of Ethics
• Become familiar and act in accordance with all laws that govern this area of practice
• Organize and manage packages of support to enable clients to lead the fullest lives possible. Recommending and sometimes making decisions about the best course of action for a particular client; which may include liaising with and making referrals to other agencies when necessary
• Maintain accurate records and preparing reports
• Participate in training opportunities and utilize supervision when necessary
• Adhere to Head In The Right Direction’s chartered standards and seek out and utilize supervision to resolve conflicts in a timely manner
