Insurance Plans

Dealing with insurance plans can be challenging, especially when you are already stressed and worried about mental health issues you or a loved one are experiencing. For this reason, it is best to understand your benefits before you need to use them, if at all possible. The following are steps you can take to make sure you understand your benefits so that you can do whatever is within your control to have your treatment covered.

Who covers Behavioral Health?

Check your list of providers

Ask “Are you in network?”

For many of us, our medical insurance provider contracts with a different company to provide behavioral health coverage.  You can check on the back of your insurance card, but it is always best to call your insurance company to confirm your benefits.

Most insurance plans will offer their customers access to a list of their “in network” providers via a web search.  Check the list to find a provider near you that is in your network. You may also want to check to see if there are any reviews available to compare providers.

We are currently in-network with:

  • Cigna
  • Aetna
  • Beacon Health Strategies
  • Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Value Options
  • United Health Care-pending
  • Medicaid / Medicare

We are currently in application  to increase networks.  You can call us to check if your plan has accepted our application for credentialing.
